Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate transit vehicles safely along assigned routes, schedules, and service patterns. - Conduct required
pre trip and post trip inspections
to ensure vehicle safety and regulatory compliance. - Provide courteous, professional customer service, including assisting passengers with disabilities or mobility devices. - Collect fares, issue transfers, and maintain accurate ridership or incident logs. - Follow all traffic laws, agency policies, and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) requirements for passenger transport. - Respond appropriately to emergencies, detours, mechanical issues, or service disruptions. - Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the assigned vehicle; report defects promptly. - Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and emergency personnel as needed. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ##
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Minimum Qualifications

Passenger (P) Endorsement

Working Conditions
