onsibilities:
+ Supervise and lead concrete patching crews on-site, ensuring proper repair of spalled, cracked, or damaged concrete surfaces (e.g., walls, slabs, columns, curbs, sidewalks).
+ Interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings to plan daily work.
+ Oversee surface preparation, patch material mixing, placement, finishing, curing, and cleanup.
+ Inspect completed work to ensure adherence to quality standards, project plans, and specifications.
+ Coordinate equipment and material deliveries; maintain accurate inventory of patching materials (grouts, epoxies, bonding agents, etc.).
+ Operate and train crew on tools and equipment such as chipping hammers, grinders, concrete saws, trowels, mixers, and pressure washers.
+ Enforce compliance with OSHA safety standards and site-specific safety protocols.
+ Maintain daily reports on labor, production, and materials used.
+ Communicate effectively with project managers, inspectors, and subcontractors.
+ Provide hands-on training and mentorship to crew members to ensure productivity and safety.
+ Identify and resolve field issues in a timely and effective manner.
Qualifications:
+ High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or technical certifications in concrete or construction preferred.
+ 3–5 years of experience in concrete repair or construction, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
+ Strong knowledge of concrete materials, patching techniques, and repair standards (ICRI, ACI, etc.).
+ Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documents.
+ Familiarity with epoxy, polymer-modified, and cementitious repair products.
+ Proficient in the safe use of concrete repair tools and equipment.
+ Valid driver’s license; CDL may be required for certain job sites.
+ Strong leadership, time management, and communication skills.
+ Ability to work in fast-paced, physically demanding environments and adapt to changing project needs.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
+ Outdoor and indoor construction sites; may involve exposure to dust, chemicals, noise, and varying weather conditions.
+ Frequent standing, kneeling, lifting (up to 75 lbs), and working in confined or elevated areas.
+ Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required at all times.
