Our Brooklyn Truck Shop has immediate openings for Heavy Equipment Field Mechanics.
Responsibilities + Troubleshoot and perform repairs on all types of heavy equipment including but not limited to: pavers, excavators, bulldozers, skid loaders, etc.
+ Knowledge and understanding of diesel engines, hydraulics, and pneumatic systems.
+ The ability to work on equipment in the field under a variety of environmental conditions.
+ Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner.
+ Perform thorough maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems.
+ Keep logs of work and report on issues.
