The role also involves operating a forklift to load and unload materials and maintaining the yard area.
The ideal candidate will ensure timely deliveries, maintain vehicle safety, and contribute to a clean and organized work environment. Responsibilities: Driving: Safely operate a commercial vehicle, adhering to all federal, state, and local regulations. Deliver products to specified locations, following assigned routes and schedules. Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting any issues. Maintain accurate logs of driving activities, including hours of service and delivery records. Forklift Operation: Skillfully operate a forklift to load and unload product. Handle and secure materials properly to prevent damage during transport. Perform routine forklift inspections and maintenance to ensure safe operation. Yard Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard environment. Assist with inventory management and organization. Working hours: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM Skills: Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a driving record that complies with company requirements. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Time management and organizational skills. Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment. Education: High School Experience: 1-4 years
