Job Duties: Safely operate
tractor-trailer combinations to transport bulk materials.
Perform
pre-trip, post-trip, and in-route inspections on equipment.
Ensure
accurate placement and securement of cargo.
Maintain truck cleanliness
and perform routine preventive maintenance.
Unload materials using
approved methods and follow all safety protocols.
Communicate
consistently with dispatch and maintain professional customer
interactions.
Complete delivery tickets and ensure accurate
documentation.
Work Environment: Primarily inside truck cab with some
outdoor exposure.
Frequent travel between company locations and ports.
Exposure to loud noise, vibration, and seasonal weather conditions.
Overtime may be required during peak seasons.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit for extended periods while driving; occasional standing,
walking, bending, and climbing.
Lift up to 25 lbs occasionally (hoses
and tools).
Requires good vision (close, distance, peripheral, depth
perception) and hearing for safe operation.
Experience &
Qualifications:
Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record.
Minimum 2 years of
driving experience required; training provided for dump truck
procedures.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
