Requirements:
- Minimum age: 23 years
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Current Tank and Hazmat Endorsements on CDL
- Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate
- TWIC card (preferred)
- Enhanced or Real ID (preferred)
- Clean driving record (must provide current motor vehicle record/abstract)
- Successful completion of a road test (provided by Small & Sons)
- Pass a pre-employment 5-panel drug test
- Clean drug record through the FMCSA Drug Consortium
Schedule:
- Monday -- Friday
- Occasional weekend shifts as business needs dictate
- 8-10 hour shifts (start times vary based on route requirements)
- Home every night!
Hourly Rate:
- $28--$36 per hour (based on experience)

The Tank Truck Driver is a key member of our daily operations team, playing a vital role in safe transportation and customer interaction.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain valid CDL (Class A or B) with Tank and Hazmat endorsements, a valid medical certificate, and participate in FMCSA-regulated drug testing.
- Operate commercial vehicles safely, following all state and federal traffic safety laws, including FMCSA hours of service regulations.
- Safely load and unload hazardous and non-hazardous materials while ensuring compatibility of transported liquids.
- Monitor tank gauges and liquid levels during transport to maintain stability.
- Follow all safety guidelines for hauling bulk or hazardous liquids.
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of trucks and cargo.
- Climb on/off trucks and road equipment, as required.
- Complete and maintain daily paperwork, receipts, and customer documentation per company procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

- Operate vehicle controls (accelerator, brakes) using legs and feet.

- Lift up to 50 lbs.
