1997 Freightliner Fld 120, 70 inch condo sleeper double bunk. 12.7 detroit series 60.. 500/1650, 10 speed with OD.. Truck has been averaging 6.2mpg pulling a flatbed. Recent repairs... 12/2011 Rebuilt complete transmission with new clutch, all new u-joints and carrier barring, rebuilt front differential with new yoke and synthetic fluid put back in both rearends, new slack adjuster on front drive right side, completely rebuilt front end with new king pin, bushings, hangers, and steer tires 4/2012. brand new fan hub 2 weeks ago with new belts installed. Drives are atleast 50%.Truck rides and drives like a caddy. everthing is tight with the truck, I have all reciepts from recent work. speedo is new and shows like 40000 miles but the frame has about 1,200,000. For Sale:

1988 International Harvester CL1600 model. This is a retired Uhaul truck and runs good. It has 158,000 miles and no mechanical problems.

I am an ASE certified automotive mechanic and I bought this truck because I couldn't stand the thought of paying Uhaul nearly $2000 for a moving truck one way from Oregon. They put you on such a tight time frame that it's nearly impossible to make the move without schedule overage charges and moving is already hectic enough without the extra stress. The other advantage is that we were able to load it and unload at our leisure and our own timetables. We took nearly a month loading our stuff for the move and a couple of months unloading. This is the way to move. We bought this, did some mechanical stuff to it to make sure we were comfortable driving it cross country, and drove it 3000 miles without a problem.

Features include:
24 foot box with roll up door. (box is water tight. We just moved from Oregon in winter and none of our posessions were wet upon arrival)
Roll out ramp. (I don't know what it's weight capacity is but we moved a grand piano down it with no problem)
Air suspension that can be lowered to make loading easier. (this also reduces shipping and/or moving damage to contents because it reduces the jarring from the road)
Dome type lighting in the box.
26,000 pound gross vehicle weight (maximum that can be driven with ordinary drivers license and does not require you to drive through weight stations)
7.3 diesel engine (non turbo, this is simple old school technology. It's not fancy but it's reliable.)
5 speed manual transmission with granny type 1st gear
power steering (also recently changed the fluid)
new battery
new wipers (washer works too)
recent oil change
new glow plugs and new glow plug controller module
