This is a 1993 Ford F350 flatbed truck with 11 feet of bed and a beautiful railgate on the rear formally owned by the Air Gas company.

Yes it has typicle rust on it, but has been maintained by the Air Gas company to the Highest standards as they haul bottled gasses.

85 International 1654 Rollback, 19' bed, wheel lift. 6.9L diesel, 5 speed trans. I used to have a towing business that I used this truck for daily, the last 4 years since I opened my shop it has been used much less. I've closed my shop and no longer need my tow trucks. This truck has served me very well over the years with very few problems.

I switched the truck over to 11R22.5's. One of the caps came off of the recaps, so I put a pair of old 10x20's I laready had on the front. To be used full time, the truck either needs a replacement 11r22.5 or a pair of 10x20's and tubes. The tires on the front are old and cracked. I've run them to Columbus and Pittsburgh and back but regardless I would recommend replacement to cover my ass. (I do have an 11R22.5 with very low tread if you want to swap it onto the rim or take it as a spare, which is why I have it).

I bought the truck 5 years ago, when I bought it I replaced all 4 brake calipers and all of the brake pads. I only ran the truck commercially for year and I had a fairly small business so all the brakes should be in good shape still.

Injection pump was replaced with a Ford dealer reman (Ford pump has a higher rev limit so the max speed of the truck is a few MPH higher) and the injectors were replaced with NEW Standadyne G code injectors. At the time these were the only injectors for the IDI Stanadyne still made, and they may not make those anymore. The G code is for the turbo engine and has a higher pop pressure, but works fine in a NA engine. These parts were replaced shortly after I bought the truck, nothing wrong with the old ones, but I got a good deal on the injector pump and did the injectors at the same time.

Glow plugs were replaced with WAP dual coil glow plugs last year. These are self limiting and much more resistant to burn out than standard glow plugs.

I installed a nice aftmarket cruise control system that works well. The radio (broadcast) quit working. I think the aftermarket antenna I put in broke because it seems like the signal is weak, sometimes it will pick up a station. The CD player works fine. It quit working after I stopped using the truck a lot so I never got to fixing it.

The truck HAD A/C from the factory. It looks like they took left the stuff off under the hood when the engine was replaced. Everything under the dash looks to be there, and if you had a 6.9L truck at a junkyard to pull parts off of it would be worth fixing.

Fuel gauge does not work, has not the whole time I ran the truck. Tank holds plenty of fuel, and where the steps go on the drivers side is where a second tank would go. I always meant to get a second tank. The passenger tank is a Ford tank, and I've looked at pictures of Ford drivers' side tanks, the brackets look the same as on this truck. A tank and straps from a Ford or International should be easy to get from a truck salvage yard.

I tracked MPG on this truck when I was towing, it averaged 8.6 MPG over thousands of miles.

I have NO idea what actual mileage is, odometer only goes up to 100K which most tow trucks will hit within 10 years.

I have a better hood for the truck, there are some cracks in the fiberglass and an area I reinforced with steel years ago.

The seat must have been recovered and repadded at some point. The vinyl is perfect and it it very comfortable to sit on (for a vinyl bench seat).

Frame is in very good condition. Cab floors are rusty. Bed floor has some (small) holes and has for years but is structurally sound.

Both mufflers were replaced with Walker 2-1/2" mufflers within the last couple weeks.

This is the old "dock high" chassis. Meaning you can do transfers directly from truck docks or semi trailers. I've charged an extra $150 to take a forklift out of a semi trailer, then the regular tow charge to drop it on the ground at the destination that didn't have a truck dock. Almost all newer rollbacks now are low pro's which give you a little better loading angle, but the trucks can't run off the road without getting stuck. This beast will go anywhere, and has.

Price is firm, CASH ONLY. I have taken into account the age and condition of the truck. It's a damn good heavy tow truck, I just don't need it any more and don't want to pay the insurance on it any more.

1989 Ford F-Superduty Wrecker. 460, 5 speed manual, working A/C. Similar specs to 99+ F-450. I spent a lot of time and money building this to be my shop truck. Custom rear air bag suspension with auto leveling valves, on board Puma 12 volt air compressor. Everything is plumbed together and works automatically as truck is loaded and unloaded, compressor is wired through a constant duty relay and only runs when the truck is on. It can be shut off from in the cab if you would want to.

Rear hubs were machined to take 19.5" wheels off of a Chevy 3500HD for higher load capacity. Rear oil seals were replaced. Rear tires are Goodyear 245/70R19.5 regrooveable, fronts are stock 235/85R16 which are much cheaper since you don't need the weight capacity up front. Fronts are new.

All new Wagner Severe Duty brake pads, front and rear, rear brake limit valve is bypassed so all brakes have full pressure, truck has a Mico type lock to the rear brakes for parking. Almost all metal brake lines were replaced.

I've sling towed my International Rollback with this truck, which weighs about 13K and it towed it fine.

Twin line winch, both winch lines are new wire core, sling straps are new.

Battery new last year, new water pump, radiator & heater hoses.

Motorcraft spark plugs, Motorcraft spark plug wires, new distributor cap & rotor last year.

Light bar is a full function bar with beacons, turn signals, running lights, flood lights, etc.

Marker lights are all new and LED. Tail lights and front corner light housings are new.

Fresh paint last year. New windshield before paint. Floor pans were done, new carpeting.

Clutch kit was just done because the throwout bearing was tight making the clutch hard to push. Flywheel was machined.

Instrument cluster was changed out to a 1987 cluster which was the last year to have a actual oil pressure gauge that moves with pressure changes. Sending unit was changed to a 1987 unit. Anything after 1987 is a on/off switch and the gauge just reads in the middle any time there is pressure. Actual mileage unknown, sorry. These only went up to 100K. Who knows.

Fuel gauge sending unit has a dead spot. Around 1/4 tank it drops to empty. Fill it up when it gets low.

The truck will come with two 16" spares and two 19.5" spares with tires. These wheels are expensive to come by.
