1983 transtar International, 8v71 Diesel, 13 speed trans, 2800 gallon water tank, 3" pump
engine runs well but truck needs work. bolts that hold transmission to adapter on engine block have stripped. Tank and pump are worth more than I'm asking, theres a new clutch and pressure plate installed also.

Please read entire article if interested. I will not answer emails asking stupid questions like what color is it. I am currently unemployed and getting kinda desperate. I need to get rid of lots of stuff and I also need to fix alot of stuff. However I am not gonna let stuff go for less then they're worth. In a couple of months I am going to cut these up for scrap steel if no one wants them. If you are a scrapper don't bother me, I allready have the best guys at the best price lined up. (*NOTE* If this ad is still listed, then the items are still up for sale).
I have 2 International trucks to get rid of. These trucks belonged to my late Grandfather. I am not exactly sure of the years; but I think the "KB-6" is a mid to late forties and the "R-180" is a mid fifties. They're both olive drab green, the KB-6 has black fenders. They've been sitting since the late 80's, they're not in good shape but still can be saved. They've got their original engines, transmissions, 2speed rear axles, ect. The KB-6 has a 251cid straight six and the R-180 has a 308cid straight six. But the titles are lost. If no one wants them, then in a couple of months I'll have to cut them up for scrap steel. I really hate the idea of these cool trucks being destroyed. Not quite sure what to ask for them. . .$1500 for the KB-6 and for the R-180, $1800. I will check the mileage on both trucks and post it later this week.
I am willing to trade for a Dodge Power Wagon or Jeep 4x4 truck '64-'74, with a V-8 and manual tranny, running or easy to get running. Or parts for my Jeep. The parts needs to be from a '93 Wrangler or 4x4 Cherokee; I need the 4.0 six cyl engine with everything on it, 5 speed manual tranny, t-case, computer & wiring harness, sensors, ect. Or from a '93 4x4 dodge 1500; a fuel injected 318 or 360 V-8 with everything on it, 5 speed manual tranny, t-case, computer & wiring harness, sensors, ect. Either one of these setups would be good. But parts need to be in good running condition & complete so I can do the swap legally for California smog. Or a fifties to mid sixties 4x4 Willy's Jeep truck, with manual tranny, running or easy to get running. Or a '67-'70 4x4 Jeepster Commando with manual tranny, running or easy to get running. Or a '67to'71 Mopar Muscle car, like a Dodge Charger, running or easy to get running.
