PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES This position is responsible for the delivery and pick-up of tank trailers, industrial pumps, and related rental equipment to customer-requested locations in and around the Escondido/San Diego County area, over to Yuma and the river, etc., and requires vehicle combination experience, not straight truck experience. The trailing equipment winches on and off the 5th wheel in many cases, so prior experience using winch systems and hydraulics is needed. Those with commercial towing experience are encouraged to apply. Additionally, flatbeds and low-boys are used for transporting variable workloads of large and medium above-ground poly tanks, etc., and some industrial pumps and are secured with chains, binders, and/or straps and blockings. Locking differentials on the truck-tractors enable deliveries of rental equipment off-road in mud or on similarly challenging road conditions in inclement (hot) weather. Containment berms must be laid-out as required during set-up of rental equipment at customer site. Delivery and set-up or tear-down, inventory and cleaning of secondary containment equipment 7. Strict adherence to DOT laws & company safety policies and procedures. 8. Maintenance of Grounds: • Maintains all landscaping at stations and substations, including trees and shrubbery. • Pulls weeds and disposes of weed waste. • Trims hedges using gas operated hedge trimmer. • Trims trees using pole saw. • Checks irrigation systems for breaks and leaks; repairs, cuts out bad length of pvc (plastic pipe), splices, and replaces. • Will be required to use hand tools. • Mends chain link fences; removes damaged areas; replaces with good links; uses spot welder to mend/secure, if trained and qualified. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Knowledge of or ability to learn MTS rules, policies and regulations, ability to read, understand, and follow MTS rules, policies and regulations, and union labor contracts; ability to prepare reports using clear, concise and grammatically correct English; ability to speak clearly, distinctly, and effectively in person-to-person or small group situations using tact and diplomacy. JBS Carriers is currently hiring OTR Reefer Drivers. We have more than 60 years of transportation experience with terminals in Hyrum, Utah, Green Bay, Wis., and Greeley, Colo. We are looking for company drivers who are loyal and dedicated, and who believe in providing quality service. If you have a clean truck driving record, and meet the minimum qualifications listed below we want to hear from you. Qualifications: -Must be at least 23 years of age -Must have 1 year current Class A experience with some OTR in like equipment -Accident/Incident Free -No more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years -No DUI or DWI violations in the last 5 years -No felony convictions in the last 10 years, beyond are reviewable -Favorable previous work history

Large regional carrier is hiring drivers in our San Diego location. Numerous delivery and pickup routes available that include Downtown San Diego, Poway, Oceanside, Vista, Pacific Beach, National City, Chula Vista and El Cajon. Delivery routes begin at 6 or 7 am and are a Tuesday thru Saturday schedule. Pickup routes are a Monday thru Friday part time schedule that begin in the afternoon 2 or 3 pm and conclude 6:45 -- 7:45.
